Malta Fashion Awards 2013

The culmination of Mercedes-Benz Fashion week happened on Saturday 11th of May. Malta' s style set descended at MFCC in Ta' Qali to celebrate the 2013 Maltese Fashion Awards. Red carpet was placed, guests re invited, awards re ahead and the nominees' re hanging around fulfilled with the excitement. Within many hours the wings were buzzing to create a memorable show of the most anticipated event.

Doors' re open at 21.00, and as soon as the guests got the venue, they were hosted by two professionals of maltese fashion industry (both began catching our eyes quite ago*) - Daniel Azzopardi (http://www.devilwearspraduh.com/) and Gayle Zerafa Cutajar (http://www.gaylefashionstylist.com/). Being "style-junkies" ourselves, we can't help mentioning the outfits those guys were rocking that night. Daniel continued to impress us in stylish ensembles - classy Bortex suit, Prada shoes and Prada shirt combined with custom made veil beanie. Dope! 

Mary Katrantzou SS2013' Star Sailor dress was Gael's spectacular selection for the red carpet. And a custom made headpiece by London milliner Rachel Trevor Morgan concluded her exquisite look. Excellent!

And in the meantime the main scene was made in shape of runway where we could see all the designers' show once again. Every now and again they were replaced by incredible and colorful performances.

So, the Malta Fashion Week&Awards winners were finally announced. Congratulations to all the participants, great job! Here is the list:

p.s: It was pretty busy week for us but very excited and unforgettable experience, followed by endless joy and priceless lessons we have carried out. We are happy to meet new people out here and we thank each of them for being kind and related to us one way or another, for the help you have provided us with, for the moments we have been sharing together. Долгожданный и волнительный заключительный день Malta Fashion Week наступил! Красная дорожка постелена, гости приглашены, награждения только впереди, номинанты в волнении, в воздухе повисла интрига. За кулисами кипит работа и суета, в зале бесконечные улыбки и смех, а на сцене красочные шоу невероятной красоты!

Двери для гостей открылись в 21.00, которые проходя по красной ковровой дорожке попадали прямиком в цепкие ручки Daniel Azzopardi и Gayle Zerafa Cutajar, которые в этот вечер блистали  своими нарядами, улыбками и остроумием.

На сцену в этот вечер снова поднимались дизайнеры, которые приняли участие на недели моды в этом году, представители совершенно разных направлений мальтийского искусства и конечно же победители номиниций которыми стали:
