The Malta International Air Show 2013

A large variety of military and civilian airplanes could be seen at the Malta International Airport last weekend. The Malta International Show has been holding for the 21 times in a row.

When last week we were asked to attend a charity dinner benefiting Reaching Out, a charity organization based in Malta, we jumped at the opportunity. 

 So here's what happened. Our good friend Eman Pulis was talking passionately about this charity organisation, 'Reaching Out' www.reachingoutmalta.com, which builds schools and clinics for underprivileged children in the village of Bulbula, Ethiopia.

Last friday we went along to the Marsovin Wine Festival which took place at Hastings Gardens, Valletta (which we’ ve somehow never seen before, eager to announce - beautiful place with a breathtaking open view!).

Malta Fashion Awards 2013

The culmination of Mercedes-Benz Fashion week happened on Saturday 11th of May. Malta' s style set descended at MFCC in Ta' Qali to celebrate the 2013 Maltese Fashion Awards. Red carpet was placed, guests re invited, awards re ahead and the nominees' re hanging around fulfilled with the excitement. Within many hours the wings were buzzing to create a memorable show of the most anticipated event.

Malta Fashion Week 2013. International Designers Show.

During the Fashion Week maltese fashionistas had a chance to enjoy the displays of both distinguished compatriots and newcomers of the industry, and show of international designers. For the first time ever, the magnificent Auberge de Castille was hosting a superb fashion show of five international designers with the kind support and under the patronage of Ms Michelle Muscat (the wife of the Prime Minister of Malta), who undoubtedly has a flair for subtle style.

Naturally New Designers Show is quite intriguing for the audience and incredibly exciting process for new participants of the fashion world. Most of the collections are revealed to the public for the first time and the impression they convey means a lot.

The show turned out to be bright and bold. Some of the newbies definetely amazed us!

That evening we managed to penitrate behind the scene where in spite of the participants' agitation, a very positive and friendly atmosphere reigned over. We tried to pass the mood of it through the pictures and really hope we succeeded. But first let us introduse you the designers of the show.
